Scope of the processing

Member area

This website provides an interface to the LionsBase of MD102 in the specially protected members' area, which contains information on the members of the Lions clubs of MD102. Members of Lions clubs in the MD102 catchment area may contact the LionsBase Master of their respective club or district regarding data protection issues related to their club membership.

Basis and purpose of the processing

We use your data for the purpose of processing your orders in the webshop, processing your registrations for events or for the respective purposes stated during data collection. By providing your data, you consent to the data processing described. The processing and forwarding is carried out in connection with such contract processing, in accordance with a consent given by you or on the basis of legal provisions (Art. 6 in conjunction with Art. 30 f. DSG or Art. 6 DSGVO).

When processing personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 31 (2) a DSG or 6 (1) b DSGVO serves as the legal basis.

Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation to which our association is subject, Art. 31 Para. 1 DSG or 6 Para. 1 lit. c DSGVO serves as the legal basis.

Data deletion and storage period

The personal data of the data subject shall be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies. Storage may also take place if this has been provided for by the legislator in ordinances, laws or other regulations to which the person responsible is subject. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a necessity for the continued storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfilment of a contract.

We pass on the data we have received from you within the Lions organisations in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein as well as to external partners, insofar as this is required for the corresponding fulfilment of a contract (e.g. web shop orders or registrations for events) or other fulfilment of the purpose stated in each case when entering the data, in accordance with a consent granted by you or on the basis of legal provisions.

If data is transferred to countries that do not guarantee adequate data protection law, the EU standard contractual clauses are concluded before a transfer to protect the personal data.

The MD102 office (General Secretariat), the organising committee of the event you are registering for, the Council of Governors (MD102 management).

If data processing on our website is based on your consent, you can revoke this at any time without giving reasons for the future (Art. 6 para. 6 DSG or 21 DSGVO). In order to process your requests to exercise your rights, it may be necessary for you to identify yourself so that we can clearly identify you.

In Switzerland, there is no right of appeal to a supervisory authority. If the GDPR applies, there is a right of appeal to the competent data protection supervisory authority (Art. 78 GDPR).
